Lunchtime Hoops
Men’s pick-up basketball is played in the gym between 12:30 and 1:30 most weekdays—some days it’s half-court 2 on 2, some days it’s full-court 5 on 5, some days we just don’t have enough players to play at all—we just can’t predict it!  New faces are always welcome, and best of all--it's FREE.  So, if you want a lunchtime hoops workout, come out and join Sgt. Swat, Pooly, Dan-O, and The Doctor.

Another Update!! (12/18/09) -- Lunchtime Hoops is currently happening on Mondays and Fridays; we expect this to be the schedule for the foreseeable future.

Important Note!! (8/11/09)--Lunchtime Hoops, a staple at the Y for at least 20 years, is currently on life support due to players moving away, changing work schedules, and older players dropping out; games occur maybe every couple of weeks now, if that.  If you are interested in playing basketball at lunchtime, let our fearless Executive Director, Matt Bruns, know--there's a chance the tradition can continue if enough new players decide to join.
